This policy explains how Chambré Collins collects and uses personal information when you visit chambrecollins.com or get in touch with us.
Who we are
Chambré Collins Ltd is a company registered in Northern Ireland (company number NI662172). Our registered office is Scottish Provident Building, 7 Donegall Square West, Belfast, BT1 6JH. We have offices in Belfast, Dublin and Edinburgh.
Chambré Collins Ltd is the data controller for the personal information described in this policy. You can contact us about privacy at info@chambrecollins.com or on +44 (0)28 9091 2880.
What we collect
- Information you send us. If you complete an enquiry form on our site, email or phone us, we keep your name, contact details and what you tell us so we can reply and, where relevant, work with you.
- Technical information. Like most websites, our web server records basic information about each visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the time of the request. We use this to keep the site secure and working properly.
- Cookies and analytics. We use the cookies needed for the site to work. With your consent, we also use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site (for example which pages are viewed); it does not identify you personally. See our Cookie Policy for details and to change your choices.
How we use it and our legal basis
- To answer your enquiry and keep a record of our correspondence: our legitimate interest in running our business, or steps you ask us to take before entering into a contract.
- To provide services to clients: performance of a contract.
- To keep the website secure and running: our legitimate interest.
- To meet legal, accounting and regulatory obligations: legal obligation.
- Analytics and any other optional cookies: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers who help us run our business, such as our website hosting and IT providers, our email provider, Jotform, which runs the enquiry forms on our site, and Google, which provides Google Analytics. They act on our instructions and must keep your information secure. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
Our website is hosted in the United Kingdom. If any of our providers process information outside the UK or the European Economic Area, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as needed to deal with it and for up to two years afterwards, unless it becomes part of a client relationship. Client records are kept for as long as required by law, normally six years after the work ends. Server logs are kept for a short period for security and are then deleted.
Your rights
Under UK and EU data protection law you have the right to ask for a copy of your information, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its use, to have it transferred to you or another organisation, and to withdraw consent at any time. To use any of these rights, contact us at info@chambrecollins.com. We will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk, 0303 123 1113) or, in Ireland, the Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie).
